If you are a parent or caregiver striving to provide the best nutrition for your child, WIC may be the program that provides you with the support you need. WIC helps pregnant women, new moms, infants, and young children thrive by providing them with nutritious foods, nutrition education, and access to healthcare. WIC benefits include food packages, breastfeeding and lactation counseling, supplemental (baby) formula, health check-ups, nutritional education, and referrals to external benefits/services.

Continue reading to learn if you qualify for WIC benefits, and how you can join thousands of families across our community who benefit from this valuable program.

You may qualify for WIC if you are:

·        Pregnant

·        In the post-partum phase

·        Breastfeeding a child under the age of 12 months

·        A mother to a child younger than 5 years old

·        A caregiver or family member of infants in foster or kinship care

AND

Satisfy one of the income requirements if you:

·        Receive SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid services.

·        Have children who qualify for free or reduced school lunch.

·        Are enrolled in a Family Independence Program (FIP).

You can also meet the income requirement if your annual income and household size fit within the categories specified below.
